Many readers of American 1st cav Thinker will recognize Midway as the scene of our first and in many ways most søkrigssejr in second World War II. You remember perhaps not now, but in the first six months of 1942, we were losing the second World War II. After lowering most of the Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor 1st cav occupied the Japanese Wake Island and Guam in December 1941. April 1942 defeated our army in the Philippines and let it go Death March.
After Jimmy Doolittle 1st cav bombed Tokyo in April 1942 the Japanese decided to eliminate the U.S. Navy in a decisive battle. They sent a very strong strength off to occupy Midway Island about 1500 miles from Hawaii because they figured food that this would be a challenge as the Navy could not ignore and which would result in a decisive battle of annihilation of the remnants 1st cav of the U.S. Navy. Japan were not aware that we had broken their secret code that was used in the fleet, and instead of being surprised, we lay in wait and lammetævede them, lowered their entire strike force of four aircraft carriers. Battle of Midway on 4 June 1942 is considered one of the most decisive naval battle in history. By Admiral Ernest King, Chief of Naval Operations, it was characterized as "restoring the balance of power in the Pacific."
We must remember that in June 1942 was most of the war in the Pacific in front of us. Estimates on New Guinea, Guadacanal, Iwo Jima, Okinawa and countless others were still being fought. Therefore, 1st cav the Battle of Midway a turning point because it was followed by the country's determination to "win through a complete victory," with FDR's words. Another way to look at the Conservatives' victory in the midterm elections is to look at it as another "midway." But we are also only half way through (midway) fight for our country's future.
First, the Left come so far away from the feeling of the American people that it was booby cared for by the Tea Party movement that was responsible for the scope and nature 1st cav of the Republican victory yesterday. Our election victory restored the balance of power in the government. Especially in Washington, when we have control of the House, so Democrats can no longer ignore the Republicans' arguments as they formulate laws.
Second was the great victory the other day not the end of the war. We are midway (midway) in this task, there is much more to be done. Tea parties - convinced conservatives - by this, and we hope Republicans in the whole of it.
Under both parties, the country 1st cav is led off course by the Constitution rate setting - from a limited government with limited powers. The most dramatic result of this is to our national finances, including at the local level is completely out of control. Our politicians have led the largest and strongest economy in the world to the brink of bankruptcy. 1st cav The fact that it has become so, and they have done so over a longer period 1st cav of time, means there is a fault in the American system.
Traditionally, we have seen our representatives as caretakers of the national destiny while we as citizens trying to fit ourselves and life's deeds. But this 'trade' has not been respected by the ruling class. The predominant class have sought their own interests, as summarized 1st cav by Thomas Sowell, by making sure to get elected and then reelected. We have long known that the policy is "compromise" the same as "I will vote for your useless project if you vote for my useless project." The person 1st cav is not in the negotiating room and that it affects the tax payer is expected to pay for both projects.
This therefore means that the conservative movement, like the country after the Battle of Midway, still has plenty of difficult games ahead. The victory 1st cav recently has only led us midway 1st cav through the tasks of several political victories in 2012 and a comprehensive 1st cav reform of the disastrous left-wing policies, starting with the government's economic measures, including wages for state employees.
Furthermore, it means an extra thing. We have seen that if not kept an eye on them, our representatives do not seek our interests or national interests. Herbert Meyer who writes regularly for the American Thinker pointed out that we, as individuals must constantly be involved in the political process. Sure, it means to find extra information - through taking extra time, in our lives and participate in the activities of our local political party.
But let us not weigh this. It will be fun, it will be a new activity, it will be a much greater participation in our communities. But it is also absolutely necessary. Tea Party can not only be a temporary move. For without our involvement as citizens, the ruling class steal the country from us. Angelo 1st cav Codevilla, in his excellent article ("America's Ruling Class") and in his book (The Ruling Class) provided us with the necessary vocabulary and words.
The choice recently gave us a tough
