Embraer Defense and Security has selected two Brazilian companies to participate in the program of military transport jet KC-390. The Aerotron, headquartered in Itajubá (MG), provide ballistic protection and LH Colus, São José dos Campos (SP), will be responsible for troop seats and the stretchers.
"We are very pleased to announce two more Brazilian companies as suppliers of the KC-390 program," said Eduardo Bonini Santos Pinto, Vice President Operations & COO, Embraer Defense and Security. "Both had excellent solutions and we are confident that deliver high quality products and advanced technology."
"The Aerotron is proud to participate in the KC-390 program and also for the confidence placed by the Brazilian Air Force and Embraer," said Carlos O. Camara Reis, Director General of Aerotron that develop throughout the ballistic protection of the aircraft following the requirements of Embraer, whose first components for prototypes will be delivered by 2013.
